December 2023 Transits & Insights
Monday, December 4th - Venus, the planet that seeks harmony and beauty, enters Scorpio at 10:51am, bringing light to deep thoughts and emotions. Potential for artistic creativity and a softening around harsh judgments. Wednesday, December 6th - Neptune, the planet of our dreams, intuition, etc, goes stationary direct in Pisces. Another indicator of enlightened creative energies. Let's focus on new moon energy. New moon energy translates to new beginnings wherever it falls in one's chart. These are the new moons we've had the last handful of months... July 17th, 24° Cancer August 16th, 23° Leo September 14th, 21° Virgo October 14th, 21° Libra (eclipse) November 13th, 20° Scorpio December 12th, 20° Sagittarius In addition, Neptune went stationary direct today in Pisces at 24°after over 5 months in retrograde. (June 30th until now) It's time to move forward with one's dreams, ideas, etc.that, perhaps, have been hidden or suppressed. Mercury is officially retrograde Wednesday, December 13th. If you and those around you haven't already felt its effects, you will.😉🤞 Another pause opportunity to reflect and rethink forward actions and plans. Such transformational times.
November 2023 Transits & Insights
Wednesday, November 1st - Though the actual eclipses are behind us, their energies continue to influence us for weeks, even months following depending on one's willingness to accept and embrace the offerings. The most recent eclipse (partial lunar in Taurus) and the present transits of the Sun, Mars, and Mercury in Scorpio are really putting the pressure on to peel back, symbolically the hidden layers of self, personal private agendas, even secrets that need to be exposed so as to embrace healthier, more beneficial ones. Wednesday, November 8th - Today, Venus entered Libra at 1:30am, a place it is comfortable because it is its ruling planet. It brings with it an increased energy for creating harmony and beauty wherever it falls in one's chart. Wednesday, November 15th - The Sun and Mars draw closer together in Scorpio tomorrow at 24° and continue to move together at 25° then 26° and 28° for the next 4 to 5 days. One can expect some sparky energy amongst those around you as these energies reveal and expose what is hidden/wounds, etc. Mars, known as the "god of war," and the old ruler of Scorpio are associated with assertion and action. One can use this energy for being a warrior for the truth or stuck in fiery resistance. It depends on where one is on their evolutionary journey. Thursday, November 30th - There are 3 major planetary shifts occurring this week for all of humanity. As usual, the influences can vary between people depending on where the transits are occurring in one's Natal chart, what other planets are being ignited, and what level of awareness one is operating from. But Mercury, the planet of communication, contracts, and mental processes, enters structured Capricorn Friday (tomorrow) at 6:31am. However, a twist to consider is that Mercury entered its shadow period of retrograde on November 25th. Possibly causing pauses in some plans.
October 2023 Transits & Insights
Thursday, October 5th - There are several planets moving into new constellations this week. Mercury entered Libra yesterday. Venus enters Virgo, creating an opposition with Saturn in Pisces on Sunday and Mars into Scorpio next Wednesday. Some explanation of what you can see... Mercury in Libra is offering a balanced plan depending on which house it falls. Remember, you will fill this energy in the area of your chart where you. have Mercury, Libra, Venus/Virgo, Saturn and Pisces. Yes, I know that seems like a lot and maybe a little complicated. But it isn't really once you get to know chart and how to navigate the energy of transits. Tuesday, October 10th - here's an early post in preparation for the upcoming eclipse on Saturday. For starters, eclipse energy is felt weeks to even months pre - and post the actual event because eclipses are transformational, providing/offering necessary changes which requires awareness and evolution. There are many words that are used to describe eclipse energy.... portals, introspection, doorways, fresh start, existential crisis, intensity, etc. I see eclipses as energy that luminates light on the hidden/repressed, deeply buried issues, even karma, which isn't comfortable yet necessary for life growth. The upcoming eclipse on Saturday at 21°in the constellation Libra is providing energy for examination of one's relationships with others and themselves. Libra is appraised for being the creator of balanced peace, with a gift for mediation. This eclipse is bringing awareness to where one might be giving to the point of their own demise. Wednesday, October 18th - Much tension is mounting and will continue to do so in our world, community, and homes as the eclipse energy prevails, Mars in Scorpio, and come October 21st Mercury enters Scorpio and on October 23rd the Sun also will enter Scorpio. In addition, Jupiter and Uranus are in Taurus, the opposing constellation to Scorpio. It's also important to note that there are 5 planets in fixed signs. The higher vibration of this could be a determined resolution. Revealing of secrets and a deeper soulful awareness. The lower vibration is being stuck in destructive power struggles. Friday, October 27th - A partial Lunar eclipse is to occur this Saturday at 1:24pm at 5° Taurus. Eclipse energies carry a little extra charge. The grace of this eclipse is that it is a partial one, so it doesn't hold as much punch as the Annular Solar Eclipse did on October 14th. In addition, it's a Lunar Eclipse, which addresses more of the emotional aspects of one's world. Eclipses represent a time of transformation. They illuminate the area of your life that you need to focus on and/or change.
September 2023 Transits & Insights
Friday, September 1st - The heaven's continue to invite us all to pause, be inwardly reflective, and listen to what each of us needs to adapt, shift, and/or accept during this period of so many retrograde planets. Remember to locate where the transiting planets fall in your Natal chart in order to best determine the area(s) most affected at this time. On September 3rd, Venus goes direct, though still in the shadow period of retrograde. The very next day, on September 4th, Jupiter goes retrograde. Essentially, this brings the total to 7 retrograde planets tugging at us seeking revised direction for a better life flow, such as clarity in relationships, finances, self direction etc. Thursday, September 7th - All the outer planets continue in their retrograde cycle, as does Mercury. What is occurring now it that Mercury in Virgo and Jupiter in Taurus are trine to each other, which could offer you sound insight and expanded thoughts if you are doing the work necessary in your life to move forward in the best way. This trine will target the area in your life where these planets fall in your chart. Book a session with me to find out more. Thursday, September 14th - at 6:40 pm, there will be a New Moon at 21° Virgo, along with Mercury going stationary direct at 8° the next day at 1:21pm. Remember, the new moon marks the beginning of a lunar cycle and new beginnings in your life. Virgo represents self care, service to others, organization and is very much rule oriented. Where in your life is important to start new in the areas of self care and service to others while following a plan? Friday, September 22nd - Beautiful Libra energy is greeting you and yours today as the Sun enters that constellation at 11:50pm, and the Fall Equinox tomorrow marking equal night to day. Symbolically, it is an advantageous time to meditate on bringing equal energy to the unresolved issues of one's life with the light we wish to shine. Libra seeks balance and harmony. It looks for beauty and peace. Friday, September 29th - The Full Moon at 6° Aries at 2:57am will surely bring forward action, especially if it's in one of your fire signs. Aries isn't always realistic because it's impulsive and childlike by nature. It's best to use this energy to propel yourself forward while having fun but making sure not to be too foolish. See things for what they are and move in the direction of your goals.
August 2023 Transits & Insights
Tuesday, August 1st - The "yod" between Venus, Pluto and Neptune continues to have influence until around August 4th. The more in touch you are with your inner truth, the more you listen to your inner voice, the easier this transit will be. Don't resist, rather ease into change and charged discussions and you will feel a lot more balanced during this time. Full moon in Aquarius at 11:32am. Get ready to feel a pull toward doing something for the greater good of the collective. Friday, August 4th - Mercury enters its shadow period of retrograde in Virgo. Some events in our lives, especially electronics, go slightly amiss. It's also an advantageous time to rethink plans and agendas. Tuesday, August 8th - Lions Gate opens at 15 degrees of Leo. The Lions Gate Portal happens between July 28 and August 12, and peaks on August 8 (8/8). The portal occurs when the sun is in Leo, the Earth, Orion's Belt and the star Sirius are lined up. Since this happens every year when the sun is in Leo season (the sign known for strength and determination), it's called the Lion’s Gate Portal. This marks a galactic gateway towards higher frequencies, heightened spirituality, conscious awareness and elevated psychic availabilities. Wherever this alignment occurs in your chart that's where you will be influenced. Friday, August 11th - A rather long Cancer Moon (nurturing, emotions, and the feminine) cycle starts this afternoon and lasts through the early hours of Monday, August 14th. Wednesday, August 16th - New Moon in Leo (bold and passionate) at 23 degrees. This is a time to tap into your passions and let the world know who you really are. Let go of fear, have faith and trust the process. Remember Leo energy can produce arrogance. Arrogance is totally different than self-expression. Use this time to express your innate gifts and talents. Also, Mercury, Mars and the Moon are in Virgo today and will be working together until Saturday morning. Uranus is 23 degrees and influenced by the new moon today at 23 degrees Leo. This energy encourages technology along with revolutionary ideas and actions. These planetary transits will influence you according to your planetary placements, your birth chart. But all of this Virgo energy seeks a plan, strategy, making lists, compelling tasks along side assisting others. The Uranus energy seeks truth and bolder actions than in the past. Monday, August 28th - Uranus enters its retrograde period totally 6 planets retrograde. Wednesday, August 30th - Full Moon at 7° Pisces. Weaving this together, it is an advantageous time for all of humanity to rethink any sector of their life that needs revision, perhaps a letting go of a rut or societal/family expectation, an outlived relationship, job, location etc. All these retrogrades, along with the Sun and Mercury in Virgo (the constellation of strategies, systems, and order), will assist in lighting the path for change. Mars is in Virgo until Sunday, August 27th at 6:20am, before entering Libra, which offers a splash of immediacy, urgency, impulsiveness, and possibly a flash of welcomed clarity. The Full Moon on Wednesday, August 30th, will assist in washing away and releasing unwanted views, emotions, etc, adding to more personal clarity.
July 2023 Transits & Insights
Monday, July 3rd - a Full Moon in Capricorn, the constellation that represents "fix it" energy, order, and systems. Many of the outer planets are entering retrograde come July. It is an important time to reevaluate soul and life directions. Transiting Venus and Mars will be hanging together in Leo on July 3rd, adding an extra zing of energy for the day. Thursday, July 6th - In the big picture, many outer planets have moved into retrograde, and Venus is in a shadow period of retrograde. It is time for the collective to pause and reflect on our outward and inward thoughts and actions. We should be asking ourselves what must we temper and/or shift in our own world to better benefit the outer world. Monday, July 10th - is a rather power packed day with Mars (assertion and action) entering organized / care giving Virgo at 4:40am. In addition, on that day, Mercury ( communication, contracts, and mental processes) enters bold, passionate Leo. Lots of energy, thoughts, and demands are possible. With this knowledge, you can prepare, shield, and direct anything that comes your way. Transiting Jupiter, which rules expansion, is presently in earthly Taurus, igniting a possible new view of the land around you and your family. Monday, July 17th - a New Moon at 11:32am at 24°56' nearly 25° in nurturing Cancer. Powerful energy for a new vision and/or plan towards your goals in the area where Cancer and the ruling planet influence your chart. Tuesday, July 18th - the transiting Node will be at 29°Aries. The tricky part about Aries is that the lower vibration is aggression, an argumentative nature, impatience, and self-absorbed actions. The higher vibration is independence, courage, self-reliance, leadership, etc. Thursday, July 20th, What stands out this week is transiting Venus, the planet of beauty and harmony, is in passionate Leo and Quincunx to transiting Pluto (soul) and Neptune (dreams, illusion, and the arts) creating a "yod" which is focused energy. June 2023 Transits & Insights
Saturday, June 1st - Full Moon at 13° Sagittarius at 8:42pm. This Moon offers the Archer of Sagittarius opportunities for new adventures and the precision for hitting the bullseye 🎯 towards a task, thought, action... Full Moon energy is advantageous for releasing old thoughts and ideals that no longer apply. This moon will reign its influence on Saturday and Sunday. Mercury and Uranus conjunct in Taurus. Be mindful of one's budget, perhaps visit one's portfolio so as to avoid hasty decisions. Monday, June 5th - Venus, the planet of harmony and beauty, enters passionate, showy, bold Leo at 6:46am. Even more reason to be mindful of impulsive purchases. Wednesday, June 7th - there are several planets influencing today's energy, including the North Node (collective higher universal direction in Taurus). The planets are Mercury, Jupiter, and Uranus. Taurus represents the earth, finances, and what pleases the senses. This is a particularly important time to be mindful of the earth, our environment, the food chain, and physical needs. It is also prudent to be fiscally aware. Uranus and Jupiter can be risk takers, which is their gift for expansive outwardly thinking, yet important to seek sound direction. The movie "Founder" is the story about how McDonald's started by the innovative thinking of two brothers. It's very much like the energies today. Saturday, June 17th - Saturn, the planet known as the "Master Teacher," associated with restructuring from the old into the new, has gone retrograde. Saturn the karmic planet is now in the karmic sign of Pisces. Wherever the retrograde occurs in one's chart is offering a time of reflection and a desire to reconnect with spiritual practices that need to be recharged. Also, with this Saturn retrograde in Pisces make sure not to get trapped in past memories and let a fearful imagination take over. Instead cultivate emotional understanding, humility and the willingness to work hard on the behalf of others less fortunate than you. Saturday, June 17th - New Moon in Gemini. Advantageous time to rethink contracts and word choices. A simple change of a word can shift an entire mental process. For example, everything is happening for me, not to me energetically moves the experience to a learning opportunity, from a poor me situation. This is also supported by Mercury presently transiting Gemini where it is comfortable. This is a great time for communication. Wednesday, June 21st - The Summer Solstice occurs on Wednesday, June 21st at 7:58 am, in the sign of Cancer, also marking the transition of the Sun moving from Gemini, a mental sign into Cancer the sign of emotions, the feminine and nurturing. Wonderful day for listening to one's inner guidance and intuition. The longest day of light for our part of the world is making it advantageous for luminating one's inner vision. Pause and take time to absorb the gifts of this day.
May 2023 Transits & Insights
Monday, May 1st - The Sun is conjunct Uranus until May 14th. Possiblity for uncensored impulsive direct comments and actions. Potential for stark truths. One's presentation is key for a successful message. Also, transiting Mars the planet of assertion is at 26° Cancer and trine Neptune in Pisces for most of May seeking emotional satisfaction and intuitive confirmation. Friday, May 5th - The penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio at 14° happens today. Eclipses hold more exaggerated energy for revealing necessary insights. Eclipse energy can be felt and utilized for the week prior and post of the actual event. Scorpio energy assists one in diving deeply to matters of the past. Perhaps reveal old wounds to be addressed. Remembering people and situations from ones youth. It can also offer an opportunity for uncovering secrets that Scorpio is so gifted at guarding. Yes, Scorpio energy can be moody and overly sensitive, which I think occurs when one doesn't want to address their truth. It's rather like a shield of false protection. Sunday, May 14th - Mercury goes direct on Sunday at 8:17pm. It's time for snagged plans to flow. Tuesday, May 16th -Jupiter, the planet of expansion, entered loyal, tenacious Taurus on Tuesday of this week. Taurus is the constellation related to earthy matters like the environment, the food chain, and the financial world. Though Jupiter is typically known for positive expansion and prosperity, in Taurus, it can cause one to have a bigger desire than one's budget can handle. Keep in mind that Taurus is ruled by Venus, the lover of beauty and comfort. Friday, May 19th - The New Moon at 28° Taurus at 8:53am is an excellent time to set a new revised reasonable plan. The new moon in Taurus, along with Mercury, the planet of communication, Jupiter (expansion), and Uranus, the planet of unexpected events, are all offering potential for disruptive energies, shaking one's reality up for a higher purpose. It is an important time to be anchored with one's internal truths. Taurus is loyal and steadfast to the truth. Time to ask/seek one's internal unwavering convictions. Where Taurus falls in one's chart is where this speaks. Taurus is very connected to earthly issues such as gardening, the environment, and such.
April 2023 Transits & Insights
Monday, April 3rd - Mercury enters Taurus. Thinking and decision making are practical, focused on material and financial matters. Expect practical common sense here. Wednesday, April 5th - in Libra at 16°. All of humanity is seeking more balance, understanding, and harmony. Mila has this conjunct her AC. So, a strong pull within herself to seek personal harmony. This is also speaking to your Saturn and Sun, asking you to bring balance to your groups, career, and self. Friday, April 7th - Mercury will enter its shadow period of retrograde and will be fully retrograde on April 21st at 8:41pm. Opportunity to rethink a plan. Tuesday, April 11th - Venus enters Gemini offering gentler words and thoughts. Wednesday, April 19th - Solar eclipse at 9:12pm at 29° of Aries known as the anaretic degree (end of a constellation). This is very significant and symbolizes transformation, new beginnings, and personal life changing opportunities. It's a critical time for implementing long-lasting change. This eclipse has a five to six months effect. Advantageous time for everyone to face one's shadow side for courageous change. Thursday, April 20th - The Sun enters Taurus on April 20th at 1:14 am. Time to honor the earth.
February 2023 Transits & Insights
Wednesday, February 1st - It's such an intriguing week ahead. For starters, an extended Cancer Moon cycle that started yesterday and lasts through to early morning Saturday. Sunday, February 5th - Full Moon on Sunday at 10:29am at 16° in Leo. Tuesday, February 7th - Mercury is out of shadow period retrograde. Hallelujah 🤗 Thursday, February 9th - this week, the Aquarius Sun and Saturn are in orb of each other. Advantageous time to launch into action well thought out plans depending on what "House" this falls. In addition, Mercury and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn, the constellation of order and traditions. Again, depending on what "House" this falls, honoring family, community, etc...offering a pause for reflection and potential for new verbiage. Saturday, February 18th - The Sun enters Pisces the constellation of creativity, the arts, and illusions at 2:34pm. Sunday, February 19th - after 11pm, a New Moon in Pisces at 1°and Venus enters Aries. Wondrous energies for setting dreams into action.
January 2023 Transits & Insights
The New Year is lining up with some powerful opportunities for revisiting and revising old ideas/plans/actions towards newer and better ones. Monday, January 2nd - etrograde Mercury will be 22° in Capricorn. Saturn, the planet of contracts, and communication will be 22° in Aquarius, making them semisextile to each other. Neptune is the planet of our dreams, and intuition is also at 22° in Pisces, creating a sextile to transiting Mercury and a semisextile to Saturn. Friday, January 6th - Full Moon at 16° Cancer at 3:08pm. Thursday, January 12th - Mars retrograde in Gemini has allowed us all to rethink our views, feelings, and future directions. As it goes direct on Thursday, clarity and action are possible on many levels. It is a time for the voice of heartfelt truth to emerge. Though Mercury is retrograde and Venus is in the mix, I hope for peaceful and understanding resolutions. Wednesday, January 18th - Mercury goes direct at 5:12am. Though there is still the shadow to go through, when Mercury or any other planet goes direct, there is an uplifting feeling of energy allowing for forward action for whatever we have been ruminating over. Friday, January 20th - Sun moves into Aquarius. The energy is moving from restrictive Capricorn, which is comfortable with traditions and old standards into broader thinking Aquarius. Saturday, January 21st - New Moon on Saturday at 1° in Aquarius. Sunday, January 22nd - Uranus goes direct, making all planets direct. Everyone should feel lighter and brighter.
